This can span from All of Government panel contracts through to supporting larger, high risk complex procurement activities Ngā kawenga matua | Key Responsibilities
- Managing allocated sourcing tasks (planning, tendering, evaluation, negotiation and contract award) for allocated Fire and Emergency procurements.
- Supporting the planning and scheduling of projects
- Supporting the development of sourcing strategies, including undertaking market and spend analysis.
- Supporting the development of procurement plans.
- Supporting the development of tender documents, including tender response forms.
- Loading approved tender documents on GETS, monitoring GETS, including supplier Q&A, activity reports and contract award notices.
- Supporting evaluation processes, including developing evaluation worksheets, supporting scoring and moderation events and, if required, pricing analysis.
- Supporting contract negotiations, including attending and recording contract negotiations meetings.
- Managing and supporting the undertaking of secondary procurement processes under All-of Government panel contracts, syndicated contracts, common capability contracts and Fire and Emergency panel or MSA contracts.

Ngā whakaritenga matua | Key Requirements
- Technical procurement experience (1+ years), including supporting higher value sourcing projects.
- Knowledge in the provision of procurement advice to stakeholders.
- Understanding of risk management in a procurement context e.g. Health & Safety.
- An understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Good communication skills.
- Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience in managing diverse internal and external relationships.
