Hill Laboratories is New Zealand's largest independent provider of analytical laboratory services. We are in the midst of a significant digital transformation programme, modernising our bespoke Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), creating new ways of interfacing with our clients via digital channels and upgrading our business processes.

**We are looking for an experienced Lead test Analyst to cover maternity leave for nine months.** Your primary function will be to ensure that our software is tested to ensure the quality of our products meets our customer expectations. To do this, you'll need to ensure that adequate test scripts are produced, and that manual test standards are followed. We are currently in the process of building automated test scripts using Telerik test studio, and we'd expect you to be able to continue to enhance that work stream.

**THE ROLE**
- Guide the QA team in producing high-quality test scripts that are repeatable and capable of being automated.
- Organise QA team to ensure testing is completed on time and does not delay releases.
- Build automated test scripts that reduce the need for regression testing.
- Work within a balanced Agile team, including Devs and BAs, to deliver business value.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Analyse user stories and/or use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
- Devise test plans, and break those plans up into compostable units for re-use
- Document testing procedures and ensure that others in the team produce quality documentation.
- Design and develop automation scripts that ensure that regression testing is not required.
- Collaborate closely with other developers and business analysts
- Plan and execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies. Logging inconsistencies in a testing tool.
- Help troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
