Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure Te Whatu Ora's digital communication channels, digital and designed content and visual identity are fit for purpose and meet the needs of the organisation and our audiences. The role will provide leadership and support for the channels and content team, with members working across digital communication channels, design and publications.
This role works closely with the communication leads and functional managers across the organisation to support the timely development and publication of content across all digital communication channels.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
- At least 5 years' experience managing and leading public sector digital channels and design communications teams
- Proven ability to develop, and train people in, procedures and processes
- Strong knowledge of the Silverstripe Content Management System (CMS), especially as a Product Owner, and demonstrated proficiency in modern communication tools e.g. other digital/web content management systems such as Drupal, Sharepoint or similar; Microsoft Office, including Yammer, Teams, PowerPoint; e-newsletter solutions including Mailchimp; and social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter).
- Proven experience in ensuring compliance with the NZ Government Web Standards
- Proven experience in using web and digital analytics tools (such a Google Analytics, Monsido).
- Demonstrated ability to work at the center of communicating complex issues in a dynamic environment.
- Experience being part of a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to proactively collaborate, demonstrating visible leadership to bring together stakeholders to deliver responsive outcomes in a respectful manner
