The Role: The Import & Supply Chain Manager is responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling, and coordinating the import and distribution operations of the business. The role ensures goods are imported efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with New Zealand regulatory requirements.

Duties
- Plan and manage the organisation’s import and supply chain strategies
- Direct and coordinate international procurement, shipping, and distribution activities
- Establish and manage relationships with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
- Ensure compliance with New Zealand Customs, MPI, and international trade regulations
- Develop and monitor supply chain policies, procedures, and performance standards
- Analyse supply chain data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and manage risk
- Oversee inventory planning and distribution schedules to meet business demand
- Prepare management reports and maintain accurate operational records
- Supervise and coordinate external service providers involved in import and logistics functions
- **Bachelor’s degree** in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Commerce, or a closely related field
- **Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience** in supply chain management, import/export operations, logistics coordination, or distribution management
- Demonstrated knowledge of international trade and New Zealand import regulations
- Strong analytical, organisational, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

This role is not for fresh graduate, we are looking for someone who has qualification and field expreience in relevant area and is willing to step up to lead the Import and supply chain of company.

Depending on experience and aptitude the successful applicant would earn in the range of $32 to $38 per hour annually.

Hours:
The hours of work 35 hours per week working Friday to Tuesday.

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
