**About the role**

**We have a new role that has been created for an experienced supply chain/stock Clerk. This isn’t your everyday, Stock Clerk role. This role
- Rural Supply Chain Clerk, plays a vital part in getting our rural hospitals what they need, when they need it This role is based at **Kaitaia Hospital**.**

You will provide front line service to our hospitals. Ensuring an accurate no fuss supply chain service through:

- Accurate maintenance and performance of cycle counting of stock for agreed sub inventories
- Daily maintenance and restocking inventory goods of agreed sub inventory locations.
- Liaising with customers to ensure on shelf availability and reduce stock outs
- Assist with the Inwards Goods process and receipting
- Assist with queries and help with ongoing supply chain improvements
- Maintaining/updating labels as required.
- Follow up on out of stock and other inventory discrepancies

**About You**

**Qualification(s)**:

- 3 years’ secondary school education

**Experience**:

- At least 12 months general stock control experience
- At least 12 months general data/order entry experience

**Capabilities**:

- An ability and willingness to learn protocols and best practice procedures appropriate to the handling and/or supply of sterile items
- An ability and willingness to learn products and supplies pertinent to the health environment
- Good computer skills, with beginner level knowledge of MS Excel.
