**About the Role**
With a strong pipeline of work planned for the Wanaka region, we are looking for a Project Director to join our team.
This role will be reporting to the Regional Manager and overseeing a team of Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors, providing mentorship and strategic direction throughout the tender and project lifecycle. You will have the ability to make the complex and complicated, simple and understandable, and will have a proven track record of leading a team to win bids and deliver high value commercial construction projects.
**About you**
- 10+ years working in the construction industry
- Minimum 5 years’ experience leading a team
- Proven track record of delivering large scale commercial projects
- In-depth knowledge of contract law, specifically NZ3910
- Experience in strategizing, negotiating and problem solving
- High level of competency in using project management software
- Ability to mentor and coach team members
