If you have your finger on the pulse of short term development and long term growth needs, and enjoy integrating growth funding with planning and delivery, this role is for you You'll be a commercially-minded, future focused, proactive thinker and leader that can build strong and enduring relationships. You'll understand the importance of taking a considered approach to growth and funding, and the need to co-design with your colleagues and our development communities. **What I do?** - Lead, coach and support the growth implementation team as they establish enduring development partners across the district. - Implement Council's growth funding principles, maintain key developer relationships, and ensure integrated delivery of land development goals. - Lead complex negotiations for strategic infrastructure and manage cross-organisational Development Agreement processes. - Advise on growth funding and provide commercial insights to support Council planning and long-term service delivery. **What I bring?** - Strong understanding of the commercial realities of development, including development feasibility and financial assessments. - Proven experience in commercial negotiations and maintaining strategic relationships with developers, preferably experience in managing growth funding and development contributions. - Proven experience in team management with a strong track record of engaging, motivating, and developing staff to improve performance and technical abilities. **Why join our team?** - We are an organisation embracing flexible working.
