**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and kitchen coordination.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate restaurant staff, ensuring excellent service delivery and team performance.
- Maintain labour cost controls and ensure rostering aligns with peak business hours and budget targets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and licensing requirements.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory, order stock and supplies, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Manage budgets, sales targets, and cost control measures to ensure profitability.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally to maintain a high standard of service.
- Coordinate promotional and marketing activities in collaboration with the business owner or marketing team.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, staffing, and operational performance.
- Maintain a positive and motivating work environment for staff.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality or restaurant sector.
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety (Unit Standard 167) and liquor licensing requirements in New Zealand.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and payroll.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
