Put simply, we’re a SaaS company headquartered in Richmond whose ambition is to become the industry standard procurement platform in the commercial construction industry. In the last year more than 94,000 organisations have used our platform to tender over 14,000 projects worth a total of $137 billion We’re the market leaders in Australia & NZ, and now we are growing the size of our team (currently 75), so that we can extend our product offering and enter new international markets.
At EstimateOne, we believe that by looking after our whole ecosystem of users, and balancing the needs of our team, our shareholders and the industry, we can achieve our vision to become a global leader in construction technology; famous for the positive impact on the industry we serve. To do that we'll need to make sure we're unlocking value from what we've already built while also inventing new stuff. It's equal parts optimisation and innovation.
Our established startup vibe keeps things lively. We’ve come a long way in 14 years, and seeing what we’ve achieved in that time, get’s us pretty excited for the next 14.
**The role**
We are seeking a talented, mid-weight Product Designer to help deepen our understanding of our Builder customers through multiple discovery techniques. Ultimately crafting great end to end experiences that solve their problems.
You will be responsible for actively contributing to the ongoing design and user experience of EstimateOne by leading end-to-end design activities including user research, prototyping, UI design, testing, synthesis and communicating design decisions to cross-functional teams.
As a Product Designer in our Builder team you will:
- Be obsessed with building empathy and advocating for our customers within the entire product team including designers, product managers, and engineers.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure project delivery meets goals and quality standards as we deliver continuous value to our customers.
- Love using using data, user insights, and research to create solutions that meet both customer and business needs.
- Promote and provide examples of the value of human-centred design practices to stakeholders across the organisation.
- Contribute to elevating the culture within the design team and design maturity across the organisation.
- Enable design consistency and best practice through contribution to our design system.
- Keep a keen eye on broader opportunities in the quest to make our customers' lives easier.
**About You**
- You thrive on getting stuff done and delivering customer value as part of a cross-functional team.
- You're a communicator, aligning the team when it comes to designs, key decisions and rationale.
- You’re passionate about collaborating with designers across the Design function to maintain consistency and coherence across client solutions.
- You proactively seek regular feedback from users, the design team and stakeholders to validate your decisions and direction.
- You’ve ideally got experience working in a B2B, SAAS business environment, using design systems.
The ability to champion our values matters to us; we care about our team and you'll be joining a group of people who want each other to be happy and successful. If you’re a motivated, self-starter and user-orientated person with experience in growing a company and designing products in a construction technology space, we need you in our team.
**Perks**

- The ability to WFH
- We are flexible about hours. You don’t have to work full time, although we’d love it if you did.
