**About the Role**

We are seeking to expand our talented team and welcome an experienced, creative and passionate Unity Game Designer. You'll be an excellent team player and understand the value and importance of good design.

Reporting to the Games Director you will be working within cross functional teams to design and develop games in an insightful way across a range of titles, to deliver experiences that engage and delight players. This requires a deep understanding of not only design principles but creative vision and storytelling.
- Main responsibilities including but not limited to:_
- Producing, reviewing and maintaining game design documentation.
- Producing and maintaining spreadsheets pertaining to the balance of economic and game system driven data.
- Prototyping or the oversight & review of prototypes for game systems/mechanics.
- Implementing and adjusting gameplay mechanics in collaboration with the Development & Design teams.
- Collaborating with both the Design and QA teams to provide feedback and problem solve solutions in design concepts & systems.

**Requirements**:
**Desired Experience Profile**
- Knowledge/Artistic expertise:_
- Experience designing gameplay mechanics.
- Passionate about design, games, and storytelling.
- Experience with Confluence & Excel or other documentation software.
- Experience with source/version control systems.
- Knowledge of economic models.
- Managerial Skills:_
- Willing to take initiative when required and proactively troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
- Ability to produce quality assets within deadlines.
- People Skills:_
- Able to communicate effectively with peers and a range of management levels.
- Able to work reliably & independently on assigned tasks.
- Able to work in a fast past indy game environment.
