Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
The Operations Manager - RMO Unit provides leadership for the Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley RMO Units to provide strategic overview and input into the RMO workforce, while promoting open communication between clinical and operational management and unions.
Reporting to the Group Manager, Hospital Operations, leadership and development of this service is a key priority for the organisation in undertaking sourcing and selection of RMO - s for the Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley and Wairarapa Districts.
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
The RMO Unit facilitates linkages between and provides support for all those involved in RMO management functions within Provider Services and across the sub-region to ensure management practices, provision of employment agreement compliance and administration of employment issues relating to RMOs is consistent. The Unit undertakes sourcing and selection of RMOs for the sub-region and participates in National RMO groups.
Moū - About you
Applicants will have knowledge and experience gained from a Senior Leadership role in Health and or management of a Health Service and have experience dealing with the complexities of a large diverse organisation. A clinical background is desirable with a relevant business qualification or equivalent experience
Someone well-suited to the role will place a high value on health equity, well-coordinated and planned service provision, continual improvement, pro-active management to achieve outcomes and a commitment to contribute at a strategic level within Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley District
