Service Foods Christchurch is seeking a hands-on **Butchery Manager** to oversee our butchery division, ensuring top-tier product quality, operational efficiency, and team performance.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Manage daily meat and poultry processing, packing, and picking.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and CFCP procedures.
- Lead inventory control, supplier coordination, and equipment maintenance.
- Oversee meat ordering, stock take processes, and product rotation.
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performing butchery team.
- Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, and Compliance teams.
- Support rostering, leave management and reporting functions.
- Contribute to strategic planning and product development.
- Liaise with Sales and GM to plan around volume forecasts, promotions, and clearances
- Promote a strong health & safety culture and ensure compliance

**What You’ll Bring**
- Trade qualification or 3+ years’ experience in butchery or operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and admin systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
