**Te Tūranga /About the Role**

As a Team Leader in Secondary Butchery at our Belfast site, you will be responsible for providing operational support to your team on the floor to meet daily production requirements, as well as observing and monitoring quality and safety compliance. The Secondary Butchery is the Department where carcases are broken down into cuts and packed.

With the support of the leadership team, you will have the chance to drive continuous improvement initiatives and grow your career; with a range of development opportunities on offer.

This is a Night Shift position and interested applicants will need to be available Monday to Friday 4:30pm - 2am approx.

**Some responsibilities include**:

- Communicating what food safety, quality and compliance requirements are, specific to your team, and actively observing the process to ensure these are maintained at all times
- Training and coaching members of your team to understand what specifications and production targets mean and how they relate to the team member’s work
- Organising daily production requirements in conjunction with your manager and clearly communicating this with your team
