As the Senior Procurement Specialist you will contribute to the overall objectives and Infrastructure and Procurement strategy working with the Director and Managers of strategy to achieve this goal.

**Procurement responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain effective relationships with managers and staff across the organisation along with external suppliers/vendors
- Ensure risk management principles are adhered to when leading and/or conducting strategic sourcing projects
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of procurement strategy, policies and processes
- Provide specialist research, analysis and options appraisals on global market engagement
- Ensure contracts are set up strategically through the procurement phase and negotiated in a way that enables successful contract finalisation and delivery of services using the outsourced model
- Act as an escalation point for contractual supply or performance issues
- Ensure ownership and accountability for delivering against major contracts are passed to the relevant contract management team at the appropriate point in the procurement process

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Procurement and strategic sourcing knowledge, preferably with multiple specific category sourcing expertise
- Advanced negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution skills relating to the negotiation of supply/service contracts
- Experience in a high-level procurement specialist role involving full end to end procurement practice and expertise
- Advanced analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills
