**About the role**

This newly created Senior Procurement Specialist role will support our Corporate Office and Technology procurement activities to deliver the best value and commercial outcomes that align with our strategic objectives and priorities at Genesis Energy. This will be a fantastic opportunity to positively impact multiple areas of our organisation as well as build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

Some of the key responsibilities are:

- Category management, identifying opportunities and strategies for procurement initiatives instilling best practice advice on ways of working with third parties and sourcing activities.
- Creating strategic sourcing including planning and negotiation of contracts and implementation.
- Manage relationships and build trusted relationships with key business areas as well as with suppliers.

**About you**

You will have;
- Extensive experience in procurement in a complex commercial environment.
- Experience working in technology and corporate services or similar.
- Demonstratable experience with operational excellence, data analytics and cost efficiency
- Experience in implementing best practice procurement systems, processes and standards.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
