**Our Opportunity**

The primary role of the Health, Safety and Environmental Co-Ordinator is to support the site HSE Manager to drive ‘Safety First' culture by positive continuous improvement to achieve a high level of safety and environmental performance. This role is based at our Meadow Fresh site in Christchurch.

**Key responsibilities**
- Collaborate within operational teams to review & develop Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs), assist with training against the Training Needs Analysis, and keep the HSE skills matrix updated with competency level achievements
- Facilitate training in conjunction with Production Managers / Team Leaders and generate reports to monitor and track HSE course completion
- Support the risk assessment process, be involved in conducting and documenting risk assessments, and ensure the site risk register is updated accordingly
- Promote the active reporting of hazards and support the end to end progress for controlling site risks
- Support all end of month reporting requirements and maintain all site HSE records to a high standard
- Support implementing the HSE Plans and promoting engagement and participation of all workers in HSE initiatives, activities, plans and committees

**We are looking for someone with**
- Experience with HS&E or Quality Assurance environment
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- Up to 2 years' experience in a relevant or similar administration role
- Administrative skills in auditing and reporting relevant standards
- Personal time and priority management, including ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Sound knowledge of computers and good analytical skills
