I am seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Health, Safety & Environment specialist, who is ready to help drive continuous improvement and strengthen a culture where safety, wellbeing, and environmental responsibility are at the heart of everything they do.

About the role:

  • Lead the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) innovations across the business.
  • Partner with leaders and teams to enhance systems, processes, and technology.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Support the delivery of strategic HSE initiatives.
  • Facilitate change management related to HSE improvements.
  • Contribute to maintaining ISO 45001 certification.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  • Play a key role in developing and sustaining a high-performing safety culture.

About you:

  • You're an experienced HSE professional who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and influencing positive change.
  • You will have relevant Health and Safety qualifications along with 5+ years' experience in HSE roles within construction, or related industries
  • Strong awareness and hands-on experience in identifying, managing, and mitigating critical risks across diverse work environments.
  • Proven experience in risk management, contractor management, and HSE systems
  • Excellent communication abilities with proven experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience leading or facilitating organisational change initiatives
  • A proactive, practical approach with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of the civil infrastructure industry will be an advantage.
