We have an excellent opportunity for a Lead Technology Specialist in Unified Communications to Contribute to the achievement of ANZ Bank’s Telecommunications objectives by providing technology expertise, mentoring, leading and driving telecommunications support, design and development.

Drive the Enhancement of current Telecommunications technologies from an operational and financial perspective and to ensure Telecommunications Technology is delivering business benefit.

What will your day look like

**In a typical day or week your work will involve the following**:
Leading, facilitating, reviewing and influencing designs to achieve a high degree of consistency, coherence, maintainability and reliability within systems
Ensuring system design and technologies utilised are implemented to meet requirements.
Escalation point for third level support issues that may arise.
Take a lead role in promoting consistent infrastructure Operations, standards and designs including roadmaps
Promoting quality design practices and standards and compliance with Bank-wide standards
Ensuring system design and technologies utilised are implemented to meet requirements of performance and availability
Manage and take the lead responsibility in conducting proof of concept work, peer reviews, writing and delivering Solution Architecture and Detailed Design documents that adhere to bank standards
Mentoring/Coaching of other staff to improve their capabilities.

**We would like to see these capabilities**:
Extensive knowledge of Unified Communications Technologies - Cisco, Microsoft Teams, Cloud based UC solutions.
Experience in planning, architecture, and design of UC environments including defining technical UC engineering policies and procedures.
Extensive knowledge of Telecommunications provider offerings including SIP, inbound & outbound calling used by Contact Centres and cloud solutions.
Vendor Management experience as a customer or supplier
Ideally hold a degree or diploma in Computer Science or simililar, or equivalent vendor certification e.g. Cisco CCIE or equivilent experience and knowledge.
Excellent presentation, communication, written, coaching and mentoring skills
