Hill Labs, a leading provider of analytical laboratory services in New Zealand, is mid-flight with its digital transformation programme. We are modernising our bespoke Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) along with all other aspects of our business. A key part of this transformation is ensuring that all benefits for finance, operations and customer success are realised.

**The Role**

This full-time role is crucial in steering the success of our digital transformation across multiple projects.

To succeed in this role, you will need to lead cross-functional teams to oversee the development and execution of an integrated project schedule, resource management, risk assessment, and strategic communication plans. Additionally, you will ensure that testing and training plans are executed efficiently.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across various functions to identify their processes and requirements. Utilising your deep understanding of system integrations, you will guide the alignment of these processes to new systems, identifying areas for process improvement and alignment.

**About You**

Your background in program management and project implementation will be foundational, with a preference for experience in financial systems and digital transformation initiatives. You will engage deeply with our finance team and must understand their language and requirements.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale digital transformation programs.
- A formal project management qualification such as PRINCE2.
- Over 8 years of program management or leadership experience in a IT.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- A good understanding of AI and the benefits it can bring to a technology business
- The ability quickly understand and assimilate complex data and drive to a solution

Exposure to the complexity of a laboratory will also be a distinct benefit but not essential.
