The success of the Te Whatu Ora Workforce Strategy relies on quality and a commitment to achieving sustainable outcomes. The Principal Advisor is a key senior role within the group, working collaboratively with others to support decision-making and achieve shared objectives.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Significant experience in developing and advising on complex operational policy that leads to the successful implementation of important initiatives (in the range of 7+ years)
- Experience in designing work programmes and project planning to ensure delivery of work is on time and within budget
- Experience in technical decision making and making business decisions with financial impacts
- Proven ability to influence, operate and get buy-in within a sector with complex stakeholder interests
- Demonstrated understanding of the machinery of government and navigating the system
