**Group Manager (Trade Relations)**

**Role Purpose**:
To develop relationship opportunities between key trade customers and the Group extending beyond and as an extension of traditional sales.

This role aligns with groups directives, targets, and goals whilst maximising opportunities with tools that add value to both business and outcomes.

Identify new and existing revenue streams and targeted approaches for further retention and engagement of key trade customers with opportunities that indirectly or directly exist and are not currently maximised.

**Key Relationships**:
The Group Manager (Trade Relations) will work closely with and maintain strong positive relationships with:

- Chief Sales Officer
- Group Managers
- Management
- Customers (existing and potential)
- Vendors (existing & potential)

**Key Objectives**:
**Responsibilities of the Group Manager (Trade Relations)**
- Wide and overarching business acumen
- Ability to achieve role targets maximizing returns and benefits to the group.
- Strong and clear self and time management to align with key objectives.
- Create strong relationships with group management, key trade customers and vendors across all channels.
- Assist with creation of branding and collateral supporting the role its needs and that of its customers.
- Engage with training objectives and programs with support of all relevant services.
- Skills in projections, financials and forecasting where required.
- Compliance of all HR, and H&S requirements.
- You should be able find solutions, have strong communication skills and an ability to resolve issues.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Being clear on achieving the same vision and goal as the company has identified.
- Clear and consistent deliverables of services to key trade customers that assist and align with the group’s sales, services, projects and tender offerings.
- Assist with management, supply, and sourcing of products (including exclusives) beneficial to the role and its services while providing relevant information to appropriate people(s) for the trade relations offering.
- Implement and enforce new policy, design, direction, and engagement as is required by the group and when.
- Encourage positive and strong relationships between all staff and customers allowing engagement and solution solving where required whilst making sure policy and procedures are adhered to while doing so.
- Ensure systems are in place to manage and identify new opportunity’s and they are followed up as requested.
- Engage with key trade customers where relevant to identify issues around problems seen within the group that affect key trade customers and ability for services to be provided.
- Ensuring that the Company has knowledge of the potential business volumes of all existing, new, and potential products, including information through use of the Company ERP systems and tools.
- To ensure timely effective solutions.
- Assist and engage with all Support Office marketing initiatives including new product launches and develop planning to support sales
- Drive a solid customer service attitude through the group.
- Compliment and assist with the overall group strategic goals.
- Ensuring that the channels work cross functionally in a positive and constructive manner.
- Any additional tasks deemed necessary by your direct report.

- Analytical skills: Use data or knowledge to spur coaching sessions empowering staff to take ownership of their opportunity.
- Clear understanding of products within the Trade Relations sector, stock management, pricing, margins, and discounting impacts.
- Clear understanding of company requirements for HR and H&S requirements
- The ability to prioritize and effectively manage time and workloads and deadlines under pressure.
- High working knowledge of the ERP, Microsoft Office 365, and all work-related tools
- Ability to communicate information effectively and appropriately.
