If so, we'd love to hear from you Nurse Maude, a trusted name in community health and support services, is looking for a permanent part-time Payroll Officer to join our Finance team in Christchurch, working approximately 56 hours a fortnight. This is your opportunity to contribute to a values-led organisation that supports thousands of people across Canterbury. As a Payroll Officer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time. You'll be responsible for processing fortnightly payrolls, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with legislation such as the Holidays Act 2003. You'll also support the Payroll Manager in delivering a streamlined, customer-focused payroll service. Key Responsibilities - Process wages, salaries, and allowances with precision and timeliness - Maintain and update employee records - Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and collective agreements - Respond to payroll queries professionally and efficiently - Support the team during peak periods and staff absences - Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold health, safety, and wellbeing standards - Actively uphold the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi He momo - About you You'll bring a strong foundation in payroll, along with the personal qualities that make you a great team member and trusted colleague.
