As a Field Assurance Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that Powerco’s service providers meet the highest standards in safety, quality, and compliance. This isn’t just about meeting expectations - it’s about exceeding them.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- ** Enhancing Standards**: Evaluate Powerco’s operational standards and provide insightful feedback to improve their effectiveness.
- ** Field Oversight**: Conduct site inspections across substations, overhead/underground lines, and construction sites to assess compliance with safety protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- ** Risk Management**: Identify hazards, assess risks, and collaborate with service providers to develop actionable solutions.
- ** Building Expertise**: Lead training programs to enhance safety, quality, and risk management skills across teams.
- ** Fostering Growth**: Mentor and coach field teams to support their professional development.
- ** Driving Assurance**: Regularly review service providers’ safety, quality, and competency systems to ensure compliance with industry best practices.

This role requires travel to various worksites, including occasional overnight stays.

**What You’ll Bring to the Team**
- ** Industry Expertise**: At least 5 years of experience in the electricity distribution sector, with a focus on field operations and safety.
- ** Qualifications**: Current or prior electrical trade certification/registration in generation, distribution, or engineering (or equivalent).
- ** Skills**:

- Deep understanding of electricity distribution systems and processes.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with safety equipment and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Prior auditing experience (preferred).
- ** Other Requirements**: A full driver’s license is essential.
