Join MUFG, where being inspired is expected and making a meaningful impact is rewarded. **About the role**: As the Associate, you will provide support for the Account Officers in our Auckland branch and manage a portfolio of New Zealand based corporate clients across a range of industries including Public Sector, Global Subsidiary Banking and Financial Institutions. **What you'll be doing**: **Customer** - Deliver extraordinary service to internal and external customers to enhance bank's reputation and meet customer's expectations. - Work in partnership with Relationship Managers and Credit to provide guidance on data models associated with the deal. - Work in partnership with Relationship Managers to gather information from customers including, but not limited to, financial statements and company accounts. **Credit Analysis** - Prepare credit limit set-up instructions - Update corporate profiles in cooperation with RM, AVP and SA. - Be well-acquainted with the bank's policy, guidelines, and standard procedures relevant to your assigned area. - Work in close partnership with RM, AVP and SA, with a focus on credit-related work including internal procedures. - Share customer information with and provide backup for the RM, AVP and SA when he/she is away, including contacting the customers for daily transactions. - Collect information from various sources including, but not limited to, customer's financial statements, company accounts, borrower ratings and sector data to support in assessing the deal. - Support the RM by acting as the contact to our Operations department under the instruction of the RM. **Credit Control** - Sort out pending items by updating the outstanding issues to RM. - Undertake regular checking duties based on information provided by RM. - Liaise with Corporate Middle Department to process transactions. - Assist RM with the KYC process **What we are looking for**: - 4-5 years' experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Bank or Chartered Accounting firms - Sound credit analytical skills to interpret data and draft reports. - Good communication skills with an ability to influence others using technical data, information, or analysis to support line of reasoning. - Sound experience and/or knowledge in developing financial data models and projections. - Good understanding of local financial laws and regulations. - Business / Commerce / Law Degree from a leading university is essential. **Our culture**: MUFG fosters a highly professional, supportive work environment that enables our employees to help maximize our customers' prosperity.
