**About the opportunity**
Mayne Wetherell have an exciting opportunity for a corporate lawyer with at least 5 years of experience to join the top performing firm in their Auckland office. With this opportunity comes the chance to work on a breadth of legal matters including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and securities offerings, foreign investment into New Zealand, private equity and venture capital.
The firm has a unique structure, where dynamic teams of lawyers are established for each engagement. Within those teams, you will gain exposure to all areas of law which underpin the relevant transaction from conception to completion. You will not be siloed into a particular practice area or team.

**About you**
- At least 5 years’ experience in corporate, banking or finance law.
- Strong academic results and sound technical skills.
- Have the ability to deliver timely, innovative, commercial solutions.
- Hold a Bachelor of Laws degree and a current practising certificate from NZ or a common law jurisdiction (such as UK or Australia).
