We’re looking for a Head of Internal Communications to join our team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Director - Internal Communication and Engagement. This is a green fields opportunity and one that will see you working across our NZ business helping connect the dots and expertly guiding our Senior Leaders and teams from a communications perspective as we navigate our large-scale transformation agenda-it really is a dynamic and exciting opportunity.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
Your key accountabilites include:

- Business Partnering - You’ll develop and execute strategic communications plans to support the Woolworth New Zealand leadership team & strategic narrative
- Listening & Engagement - Facilitation of listening and gathering insights across team experience culture conversations as key touchpoints with team members. As well as lead the synthesis of output from listening & engagement activities.
- Events - Collaborating across the team to deliver events inside of Woolworths New Zealand
- Internal Social Media & Content - Craft & deliver a consistent, measurable internal social media plan to engage teams on key messages & strategic narratives
- Capability & Leadership - Provide thought leadership to the Internal Communications Chapter on content, channels, metrics, industry best practices or internal insights

**About You | Mōu
To be a success in this role, we think you’ll need to bring
- 5+ years experience in an Communications Manager role
- Experience in designing and developing communication strategies for multiple teams and implementing new communications techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for audiences across levels
- Strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to think strategically and tactically
- Experience leading a high performing team
- Ability to work globally (specifically Trans-Tasman)
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar area is advantageous as is experience dealing with industry bodies and government as well as experience with agile methodologies
