Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Engineering Manager ensures that all production departments experience mínimal down time due to engineering and maintenance requirements. Your strong communication and organisational skills will assist you in managing the variety of priorities and demands. The ability to maintain a strong focus on cost and resource management, and to prioritise expenditure decisions will ensure you continuously meet business objectives.

You will also provide confident leadership to an existing well-skilled engineering team.

To perform well in this position, you will demonstrate the following:

- Maintain and further develop the team culture that currently exists within the maintenance department.
- Maintaining a strong focus on cost and resource management and have the ability to prioritise expenditure decisions.
- Experience in a fast paced manufacturing facility that has a strong focus on preventative maintenance.
- Experience in the use of a CMMS system (MEX preferable but not essential)
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Strong leadership style to drive positive outcomes.
- A can do attitude and a hands on approach to problem solving
- A commitment to upholding the company’s high standards of Health and Safety.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of communication skills both oral and written.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

**Qualifications**
The succesful applicant will have the following:

- Engineering degree and or relevant electrical or mechanical trade qualification.
- Experience in similar role.
- Knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 is an advantage as is additional training courses such as confined space and heights training etc.
