We provide facility management services including building and open space maintenance, operations, asset management, project management and delivery services. At central Alliance, our services include the following scope of works:
**About the role**

An exciting opportunity now exists in the central Alliance team for a Facility Manager based in Wanganui. You will be the primary point of contact for the delivery of all Facilities, Engineering & Maintenance Services (FEM) related works. You will focus on the management, planning and operational delivery of tasks.

In addition, you will supervise in-house trades people and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work is delivered in a timely fashion. You will ensure work is delivered in the most cost-effective manner with mínimal disruptions whilst adhering to Ventia and legislative health and safety guidelines and standards.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, Facilities, Engineering and Maintenance, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to)
- Managing contractor workload and allocation of resources as well as recommending service improvements and recommending continuous improvement.
- Coordinating the response to reactive maintenance requirements for technical service delivery and providing feedback to Te Whatu Ora, Whanganui regarding the completion of reactive work.
- Manage the delivery of the Annual Planned Preventative Maintenance Plan (PPM) meeting internal reporting requirements, use of Ventia systems and meeting contract KPI’s.
- Analysing breakdowns, root cause analysis and implementation of strategies to prevent recurrence.
- Assist Project Managers to ensure all projects are delivered safely on time, to budget and meet the KPIs of the contract from inception to close out and handover, whilst ensuring best practice work methods are put in place for greater efficiency and productivity.
- Ensuring all scheduled and unscheduled work orders are attended to in a timely fashion with the least amount of disruption to the workflow and outputs.
