**About the Role**
This is an exciting and diverse role where no two days are the same Reporting to the Site Engineering Supervisor, you will provide the first response to all immediate building and system issues within the hospital as part of the shift team providing a permanent 24hr/365 day presence on site.

**You will participate in a rostered 12 hour shift pattern and provide cover for leave and sickness.**

**About You**
- Trade qualified and skilled in fitting, turning and machining - **this is a hands-on role**:

- A minimum of 10 years experience in building services/facilities environment
- 3 years experience in BMS systems
- Great building services knowledge
- Competent in boiler operation and maintenance, HVAC plant, power generation plant, medical gasses, chillers, RO plant, lifting equipment and hospital relevant systems
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and escalate if necessary
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with people from all walks of life
- A strong growth mindset with an eagerness to learn new skills
- Health, Safety and Environment knowledge, including machinery guarding
