CENTRAL SILO SYSTEMS LTD SPECIALISE IN THE DESIGN, SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND SERVICE OF GRAIN STORAGE, GRAIN HANDLING EQUIPMENT, FEED MILLING EQUIPMENT, AND ANIMAL FEED SYSTEMS.

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing on-site technical support, including installation, maintenance, and repair of our equipment. You will work closely with customers, ensuring their satisfaction while upholding our high standards. We cover the Manawatu and wider lower North Island regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair Dairy in shed feed systems, feed mills and grain storage and handling equipment on customer sites.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and preventative checks on equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve mechanical issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of service activities and job notes.
  • Collaborate with managers, other team members trades, and clients.
  • Some travel is required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Full Class 1 Drivers license or higher.
  • Proven experience in a similar service or field engineering role.
  • Competent welding experience MIG/TIG/MAW
  • Machining experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional qualifications would be a bonus

  • HT license class 4
  • Crane loader Operators certificate
  • Rigging and Slinging
  • Working at heights
  • Confined spaces
