Due to an internal promotion, we currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Sales leader to join our Specialised Solutions team, to develop and coach a team of Associates, and roll out BNZ's new Merchant proposition.

We sat down with the Head of Merchant Distribution, who let us know the following about the role:
**What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?**
- Coaching and leading a high performing team of Associates
- Building relationships with customer and assisting with their enquiries
- Managing resources and allocating work efficiently to the team
- Leading, managing, and delivering on projects
- Driving profitable sales and service levels

**What is the team culture and environment like?**

You will be joining an extremely supportive and collaborative team, with a strong focus on serving our customers (both internally and externally) brilliantly.

**What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?**

The most exciting thing about this opportunity is that you'll get to be part of a new innovative proposition, where you can help shape and drive BNZ's market share across New Zealand.

We have some ambitious targets to achieve this year, and you will be part of a growth journey within Specialised Solutions, which will be both exciting and challenging.

**What attributes will this person have in order to be successful?**

We are looking for a strong and collaborative player/coach, with a growth mindset, and a good understanding of both Merchant and Sales.

You will also be an excellent communicator with the ability to influence both the team and internal stakeholders, as well as handling some challenging customer queries and complaints.
