Paraparaumu, New Zealand Kāpiti Coast District Council Full time

**Manager, Payroll, Reporting and Insights**

**He Angitūtanga | The opportunity**

It’s an exciting time to join the Kāpiti Coast District Council as a member of their new People and Capability Leadership Team. You’ll have the opportunity to shape your role, and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of great experiences for their kaimahi.

As Manager Payroll, Reporting and Insights, you’ll be responsible for leading the payroll function and developing meaningful dashboards and reporting to enable group managers to make people and business decisions based on data and insights.

You’ll also play a key role in process improvement, and identifying the most effective use of existing software, while exploring new technologies, building business cases, and implementing new systems.

**He kōrero mōu | About you**

We’re looking for a leader who loves data, dashboards, and reporting, who thrives on slicing and dicing remuneration sheets and pulling together beautiful data.

You’re someone who can glean insights and work your magic to tell a story with data. You understand business, and what drives business.

Payroll experience would be an advantage; however, we’re also interested in those who may come from a more traditional data analytics background.

As the manager of three knowledgeable payroll specialists, you’ll be an inclusive, open, and non-hierarchical leader.

With a focus on _mahi tahi_, it is about getting the work done as a team.
