The Human Resources Service Delivery team**works across the Councils wide ranging functional areas to provide exceptional HR leadership, advice, support and guidance to senior leadership, people leaders and our people.

P&C is responsible for providing the strategic management and robust effective operation of human resources, health, safety and wellbeing, payroll, reporting and insights and organisational learning and development functions, in compliance with relevant legislation and in accordance with the Kāpiti Coast District Council’s (The Council) policies.

**Te tūranga: The Opportunity**:
The Council is seeking skilled **Human Resources Coordinator** to provide high-quality administrative and coordination support within our HR Service Delivery team. With several key strategic projects in the pipeline this role provides an excellent opportunity coordinate and help implement some significant change, also contribute to the smooth delivery of HR and OD services, to help shape an outstanding employee experience.

**Kō tō mahi: What you will do**:
**HR Coordination & Administration**: Provide support across multiple portfolios, ensuring HR processes are compliant with policies and delivered to a high standard. Assist with process, manage employee experience initiatives, and help coordinate projects to enhance HR effectiveness.

**Project Coordination**: Assist in various HR projects and initiatives, ensuring all project trackers are up-to-date and contribute to improving leadership, culture, and organizational performance.

**Customer Service**: Manage HR communication channels, respond to inquiries, and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**Continuous Improvement**: Identify process improvements, assist in developing new HR policies, and work collaboratively with the HR Service Delivery team to achieve team objectives.

**Na tōu rourou: What you will bring**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, and/or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years minimum experience in an administration or coordination position, ideally in an HR/OD environment.
- Ability to pro-actively build and maintain sound working relationships.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritise work, think ahead and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and an awareness of Māori perspectives.
- Holder of a current and valid NZ Drivers’ licence.
