**About the role**

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Risk and Audit Specialist - ISMS to join our Corporate Services team. In this critical internal role, you’ll be instrumental in strengthening our information security posture, ensuring compliance with ISO27001, and fostering a culture of risk awareness across the business.

Reporting to the Head of Legal and Risk, this role is responsible for coordinating, managing, and carrying out internal audits, producing audit reports, assisting stakeholder teams in managing their internal policies and procedures, and recording follow-up actions. The Risk and Audit Specialist - ISMS is also responsible for coordinating the ISMS working committee and maintaining the ISO27001 compliance portfolio.

Other duties include:

- Lead various internal audits in FBNZ including audits around our Information Security Management System (ISMS) in alignment with ISO27001.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and support the business in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating information security risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ISMS policies and controls are effectively implemented and maintained.
- Prepare and deliver clear audit reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation to senior stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings, risk trends, and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Support external audit processes and certification efforts as required.

**Skills & experience**

We are looking for someone who has strong analytical and problem solving skills. Along with this, you will also have:

- Proven experience in risk management, internal audit, or information security, preferably within a corporate environment.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO27001 and ISMS frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple work loads
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into clear business terms.
- Relevant certifications/experience (e.g., ISO 27001, IT audit certification/experience) are desirable.
