We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer who’s not just technically skilled, but also ready to take ownership of the QA space within one of our Frontend squads. This is a role for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment - working closely with engineers, product owners, and the wider Kiwibank community to ensure quality is embedded at every stage.

You’ll be instrumental in building domain knowledge and documenting it in a way that’s clear, repeatable, and accessible - especially around setting up test data. While we already have an automation test suite, there will be a meaningful manual testing component as we continue to expand it - gaining deeper insights into the systems and identifying the most valuable opportunities for further automation.

- Key skills and experience we’re looking for:_
- A proactive mindset and a sense of ownership over the QA function
- Strong collaboration skills - with your team and the wider organisation
- Strong analytical and documentation skills - able to translate complex processes into clear, repeatable steps
- Experience with ReactJS testing libraries (e.g. React Testing Library. Jest)
- Experienced in automating tests for ASP.NET
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, understanding ReactJS development, and familiarity with ASP.NET frameworks
- Comfort with Git and GitHub workflows
- A balanced approach to manual and automated testing, including integration and end-to-end testing
- Bonus (not essential but advantageous to have):_
- Experience with production troubleshooting and on-call support
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with bash scripting for build, deploy and test automation.
- Experience using GitHub and GitHub Actions
