Engineering New Zealand is the professional home for all engineers in New Zealand. We have a membership of 22,000 people from a wide range of engineering fields. Our members range from students in their first year of engineering study through to veteran professionals who have retired but remain involved in our engineering community.
The Learning partnership’s team provides professional development opportunities for our members to help them thrive and uphold standards and to bring Engineering to life.
**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**:
We are looking for a Learning partnerships coordinator to join a small and dedicated team whose ‘why’ is to empower for positive impact. You’ll coordinate all elements necessary for successful delivery of professional development activities as well as providing hosting support for online courses. This is a varied role that will put your multi-tasking and superior organisational skills to good use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate delivery of activities including venues, catering, travel, workbooks
- Host online activity including set up, facilitator support and resolution of technical queries
- Manage the event management system including interface with the website
- Manage the team inbox, resolving queries or escalating as required
- Be the systems champion for current and new systems used by the team
- Support the team with general coordination needs
Ngā tino Pūkenga/Whēako - Desired skills and experience:
- Experience in a similar event or learning coordination position
- Technical proficiency with the ability to use a range of systems and advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Confident, articulate, and comfortable when speaking to groups
- Stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and build trust and confidence
- Results focused, with the ability to prioritise, pay attention to detail and act with urgency
- Creative thinker with a can-do attitude
- Friendly and positive team member who works well with others to get the best outcomes
