**The Company**

This organisation is a well-known, NZ wide not-for-profit that has a good reputation throughout the market. Due to some internal movements, they are on the hunt for a solution focused Systems Engineer to dive into a range of projects to get them wrapped up ready for a smooth handover.

Currently projects are relating to Veeam, VMWare and data centre work.

**The Role**

Reporting to the IT Manager and working within a team of Engineers, your key responsibilities will include:

- Take operational responsibility for multiple services including:

- VMware
- Windows Servers
- Veeam Backups
- Data Centre Migration
- Assist with any escalations from the wider team as required.
- Contribute toward the continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures.

**Your Skills & Experience**
- 5+ years in operating infrastructure and network technologies
- Fantastic troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Proven ability to engage with internal users, software teams and vendors in a constructive and collaborative style.
- Prior experience with VMWare and Veeam

This role is a 3-month contract to cover the team while the new permanent hire onboards - there is no shortage or work and projects to be done so expect to be busy This role has an immediate start.
