**About the Role**

We have an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual to step into a newly established position here in Favona, South Auckland. This role will involve helping with the build and ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of materials and equipment to site. We are looking for a team player, who will relish a challenge and is able to run a tight schedule. Some of the responsibilities will include:

- Managing the successful delivery of a large commercial project
- Site Manager experienced in commercial/industrial builds
- Liaising with suppliers and construction teams to coordinate deliveries to each section of site
- Building strong relationships with sub-trades and suppliers
- Assisting Health and Safety with contractor sign-in and Health and Safety requirements, where necessary
- Assist in the accurate maintenance of the Site Access Register
- Assistance with Hazard identification and with Job Safety Analysis and Permit to Work
- Responsible for the security of the site

**Skills and Attributes**
- At least 5 years’ experience working on industrial/ commercial construction sites
- Appropriate trade qualification
- Detailed knowledge of construction, and good health and safety knowledge
- Computer literate, with the ability to keep and maintain clear and concise documentation
- Calm and professional personality with sound relationship-building skills
- Clear and concise communication both written and verbal

This role is fixed term for the duration of the project which is expected to be 18 months.
