In this role, you will be responsible for technical and commercial project support of the Power Conditioning global sales team towards execution of projects with HiPerGuard and other non-standard projects for Electrification business in Napier, New Zealand. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will provide regional team with commercial support and co-ordination of after sales activities including factory acceptance test & commissioning co-ordination, extended warranty & preventative maintenance proposals

**Your responsibilities**:

- Providing technical support for factory testing, installation and commissioning activities and preparing project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables.
Providing quality solutions as per customer requirements and delivers within budget and contract and ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks.
- Creating work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility and ensures quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost and Improving effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions.
- Reporting any contract / quality / program / cost issues to management along with recommendations for resolution.
- Assisting customers on technical issues, interacts with official contacts, contractors and other staff within his/her scope of deliverables and assist communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.
- Collaborating with the Supply Chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed on with potential suppliers
- Ensuring that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements and reporting processes and tools inefficiencies and suggests improvements ideas.

**Your background**:

- Experience in technical project management principles and responsibilities.
- Attention to technical & commercial details and timelines
- Applied Electrical background, ideally in the field of power protection/power conversion/power systems, including site project or installation work.
- Sales background of value, technically minded with commercial awareness required.
- Bachelor of engineering or applicable trade qualification.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
