A Tier 1 Financier, you can be sure they have all the obligatory funding, governance and risk models in place to ensure ethical lending occurs. **The Role** Due to internal promotion and movements, this newly created IT Service Manager position owns key IT Service & Systems deliverables which enable staff to deliver unsurpassed value and support to their customers while achieving their internal quality standards. With five direct reports, your leadership style gets the best out of people. You create an inspired setting where your team act with purpose and place high priority on delivery. **What we are looking for?** Reporting to the GM IT, you have an extensive background leading teams to deliver Service Delivery which enables business growth while reducing downtown. You have a naturally curious nature which sees you digging into both anecdotal evidence and quantifiable data to drive process improvements which create value in IT Service and Systems Delivery. A truly leadership based role, you thrive delivering mentoring and coaching outcomes which improve the functional capability of your team members. With a decisive manner, you set clear and realisable expectations with the team members and lead them to the achievement of their deliverables. **Your career journey as such incorporates extensive ITSM experience, especially configuring and refining workflow and processes to enhance the Ticket Management process.** You are accustomed to using Kanban, providing a visual, flexible, and collaborative approach to managing work, which ultimately leads to increased efficiency and improved service delivery. You are a somewhat of an ITSM Automation / Jira Automation specialist and are always looking at evolving processes and methods which create value for customers and staff. You ensure stuff gets done **The Selection Criteria** Work experience necessary to competently perform the duties of this position include: - Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills. - Decisive leadership and evolved planning abilities. - Demonstrable organisational skills. - Able to work under pressure and self-manage. - Knowledge of Windows, Networking and Virtual machines. - High level of passion for change management using a framework approach. - A technology native, you have sound knowledge of IT computer hardware and software incorporating; - knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure, Networking and Virtual machines. - API's and Cloud Solutioning infrastructure **Preferred** - Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps and/or other task management tools. - Good conceptual understanding of modern infrastructure management - Exposure to banking and financial systems. - Familiarity with best practice principles regarding Server Security, Firewalls, and networking. - A related IT Degree or extensive career showcasing alignment. Personal qualities necessary to perform the duties of this position include; - A logical and analytical mind. - High level of attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels. - Ability to manage multiple tasks. - Ability to act as a project "driver", facilitating the achievement of required tasks. - Ability to work effectively within a team. - Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. - Responds positively to pressure when dealing with constant and repetitious issues/inquiries. **Remuneration** As you could rightly expect, this role attracts a lucrative base wage, Kiwisaver, health insurance and a range of discounted products including, discounts on interest rates, mortgage interest rates and various other benefits.
