**About the opportunity**:
Our client is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their Sales team This is a thriving high paced fun environment and would suit someone who enjoys being busy and would like to develop a career in a market-leading IT product and service provider.

**Role description**:
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first-level customer inquiry services, preparing customer quotations, processing sales orders, and procuring items for customer orders.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Coordinating the run-up of new units sold
- Dispatching goods to customers
- Communicating directly with customers on behalf of the Account Manager
- Assist with the ordering and receipt of goods into stock
- Liaise with suppliers on products, purchase orders, and ETA’s
- Maintain account management backorders
- Dispatch invoices
- Update asset management databases
- Produce and coordinate reports for customers

**This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities**:

- A high level of attention to detail
- Ideally a sound knowledge of general administrative requirements of a service and sales environment
- Be competent and experienced in MS Office
- 1-3 years of relevant industry experience would be ideal
- Be genuinely motivated by a willingness to help
- ServiceNow and/or experience in IT procurement would be fantastic
