Description

Evolution Healthcare is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist who will play a critical role in ensuring efficient operations and supplier activities across the business. This role will also ensure that exceptional clinical and business outcomes, along with benefits, are delivered. 

About the Role 

As the Senior Procurement Specialist, you will provide expert advice and support for complex procurement initiatives across the full range of spend areas including the delivery of go-to-market activities. Collaborating with stakeholders, you'll align procurement needs with commercial objectives to deliver the best outcomes. Your role is key to ensuring clinical and business success while driving cost management, supplier control, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Evolution Group's procurement initiatives, delivering both clinical and business value.
  • Planning and delivery of complex go-to market activities, and procurement engagement, for the review of categories and cost areas.
  • Provide procurement advice and assist stakeholders in navigating procurement processes.
  • Manage costs, help manage suppliers, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee procurement-related documentation.
  • Implement and support adoption of innovative methodologies to enhance supplier collaboration.
  • Champion good commercial practices to drive the best procurement outcomes. 

This is a permanent role for 80 hours per fortnight and is located at Evolution Healthcare Corporate offices, Wellington

About you

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Previous experience in a procurement role in a commercial environment. Experience with a range of spend categories.
  • Experience in analysing procurement costs and usage, evaluating data and options.
  • Strong understanding of commercial processes and practices in procurement.
  • Ability to successfully manage stakeholder and supplier relationships, and control costs.
  • A keen eye for detail and skill in developing and maintaining documentation.
  • Forward-thinking mindset to implement new solutions and methodologies.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach that supports business goals.
