**Project Officer**:

- Location: Auckland, NZ, 0624- Onsite or Hybrid: Hybrid**Babcock New Zealand **are looking for an experienced** Project Officer **to join our Project Controls team on the** **_Devonport Naval Base_**.**

**About the role**

As the Project Officer, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of project related tasks, including coordinating, research, analysis, and reporting.

Primarily supporting a variety of non-complex projects, you will work with the wider Project Management team to achieve the key deliverables within the department.

**Responsibilities will include**
- Provide project and operational support under supervision, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans
- Maintain the Engineering Services Pipeline Metrics and Outputs dashboard to provide accurate and up to date information to the management team
- Report upon workload and resource capacity
- Maintain a long term forecast of engineering workload
- Obtain finance and budget data to report upon spend/commitments against finance plan.
- Assist the Engineering Services Pipeline project team undertake project tasks such as planning & scheduling, estimations, analysis and reporting, to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved
- Provide ERP support to Engineering Managers and Project Managers to establish projects and activities in the pipeline management system
- Manage incoming work requests and aid planning to support robust delivery forecasts

**About you**

As an experienced Project Officer/Administrator, you will have demonstrable experience working in an industrial environment. You will preferably have had Defence, Engineering or Marine project exposure but all suitable disciplines will be considered.
