**Commercial Officer**:

- Location: Devonport, NZ, 624- Onsite or Hybrid: Hybrid**Babcock New Zealand** has an exciting opening for a full time **Commercial Officer** to join our growing team based in our **_Devonport Auckland Office_**.

**About the Role**

The Commercial Officer provides legal and commercial support to Babcock New Zealand including assistance with commercial, business governance and compliance and initiatives to improve policies, processes, performance and service levels to support business objectives. Responsibilities include administration of commercial activities including business support, data and records management, document preparation, meeting management and reporting.

This role will report to the Senior Commercial and Subcontract Manager NZ and responsibilities will include but not be limited to
- Pro-active support to the commercial and operations team and other internal stakeholders
- Support corporate governance, corporate risk management, maintenance of digital records, registers, reporting, insurance, business winning, project performance, commercial, procurement and trade controls activities as required
- Assistance with commercial aspects of bids and tenders
- Assistant with contract administration, customer meetings and document preparation and management
- Support with managing customers and suppliers. Undertake due diligence investigations (customer and supplier relationships) and administer onboarding activities
- Anti-Bribery and Corruption Officer for the Australasian region
- Company secretary duties such as annual report lodgement, changes in corporate structure and upkeep of company registers
- Assistance with insurance queries, amendments and renewals
- Assistance with monitoring and reporting against statutory and regulatory changes relevant to the business
