We have a permanent opportunity for a Business Support (L2) to provide high quality and effective administrative support across the Enterprise Design & Integrity team. In this role you will work closely with your peers, team members and manager to deliver a consistent level of customer focused service.
All good teams need a strong administrator to provide the support and tools necessary for success. As a true “people person” you won’t just enjoy supporting your colleagues but will also appreciate the opportunity to build relationships, and your confidence will enable you to ask questions, share information and chase people up. You will be organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail and will have a genuine interest in making a difference in both small and big picture ways.
In this varied role you will:
- Provide administrative support to our ED&I Leadership Team members including organising meetings and assisting with events
- Providing the administrative support for our Commissioner’s Awards Committee, including attending the meetings, compiling the packs of nominated people for the committee, preparing the responses for winners and nominees
- Logging mail
- Assisting with purchase orders for invoices
- Assisting with the CE’s physical and virtual visits to our sites around the country - working with the CE’s PA in putting together a summary of the site, travel bookings etc
- Assisting the CE ‘s PA in CE activities as required
- Provide administration support to our Leader Forums - Te Punga o te waka and Pou Herenga Waka
**Mōu | About you**
To be successful in this position you will possess some of the following attributes:
- Experience in an administrative or business support role, alongside a sound understanding of MS Office
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills with the ability to liaise with other business support teams to deliver priorities and outcomes
- A strong sense of curiosity and an interest in learning new systems and ways of working
- An interest in identifying opportunities which add value to the team and your leaders
- The ability to organise and plan, to multi-task and to juggle competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, organisational and time management skills
- A keen understanding of the need for confidentiality and a high level of integrity
- The confidence to progress work without close supervision
- A friendly 'can-do' attitude and the willingness to pitch in and support the wider team when required
