Permanent part time 0.8FTE position - Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC **Kia hiwa rā** **Mō te tūnga - About the Role** As a Research Nurse Coordinator within the Haematology Service at Christchurch Hospital you will be responsible for providing coordination of all aspect - s clinical trials; and provide quality nursing care to haematology patients participating in those clinical trials. The primary objective of the Haematology clinical trials (research) programme is to comply with ICH-GCP guidelines while following protocol specified guidelines. We aim to improve the standards of care offered to our patients by participating in well-designed clinical trials which can offer access to innovative treatments not normally available within New Zealand. **Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako - Skills and Experience** Excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, the ability to communicate with a wide range of people at both professional and personal level and work effectively and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team are imperative to this role. To be successful in this role, you will have expert nursing knowledge with extensive clinical experience. Your personal skills will include being self-motivated and reliable with working independently. You will have the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-faceted team. You will be able to prioritise your workloads daily.
