We are looking for two Analysts to join our Data and Information Disclosure team within our Infrastructure Regulation branch. These are permanent positions based in our either Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office or Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office.

Mō te tūranga | About the role
You will join the team responsible for collecting and managing the branch's data received via our information disclosure regulation. We are continuing to develop both our regulatory disclosure requirements and our systems and technology capabilities. You will have the opportunity to improve existing processes and products, supported by the branch and the Commission's central Data and Analytics function.

You'll also be key in working collaboratively with our stakeholders, both internal and external to refine our data and analysis offerings and present information in a variety of ways to target different audiences.

He kōrero mōu | About you
To be successful in this role you will have eexperience working in a fast-paced project team environment. You will be proactive and solutions-focused and be able to think, write and communicate clearly for a wide range of audiences. You will also be inquisitive with sound critical thinking skills and be comfortable facilitating meetings with stakeholders.

Ideally, you will also have experience in some of the following:

- compliance, information management or data collection
- analytical tools such as excel, Tableau, Power BI, R
- the ability to interpret quantitative information to tell a story
- relationship management skills
- sector experience in electricity, gas or airports

A university degree in an analytical field (e.g. commerce, economics, statistics) as well as regulation experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
