**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**
The Data Analyst is part of the CP&S Remediation team that focusses on making things right when multiple customers are impacted by issues such as errors in pricing, disclosure, or compliance.
Guided by the Senior Remediation Manager you will perform a range of analytical activities to identify impacted customers, understand the degree of impact and calculate the required remediation. You will also work closely with the Data and Analytics team (D&A) who provide the data required for remediations.
You will also get involved in:
- Investigate, define and document requirements for identified remediation cases
- Work closely with data engineers in D&A on data extract requests
- Engage with business stakeholders, keep them informed of data and calculation progress and issues
- Perform required validation processes and control checks across all extracted data and customer remediation calculations
- Perform remediation data and calculation validation processes and controls for customer remediation calculations
- Create data visualisations for cases or reporting
**This is 12 month fixed term opportunity.**

You'll be a team player who will bring excellent communication skills and a drive for continuous improvement. You will also possess:
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Proficiency manipulating large amounts of data and building models
- Good attention to detail, ability to execute analysis accurately
- Understanding of complex data analysis experience using various of data analytics tools (e.g. SAS, SQL, R, VBA)
- Highly organised and efficient, ability to work on multiple cases at once
- Proven experience with reporting & data visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
