**Hard Surfaces Maintenance Person
- Franklin**

Our Auckland Parks team prides ourselves in maintaining public spaces that are used by our communities. This role requires someone to maintain footpaths, tracks, and carpark surfaces within the Franklin Area.

In order to keep spaces safe and usable for the public, this role will be responsible for:

- Keeping tracks, footpaths, and car parks clear of vegetation.
- Weed control and spraying of hard surface
- Ensuring surfaces are safe and non-slippery.
- Reporting any safety issues (such as damaged footpaths).
- Ensuring that we have good audit results and meet contractual obligations
- At least a Full class 1 driver license
- Growsafe qualification is a bonus We will put the right person through this training.
- Physically able
- Basic knowledge using small plant and equipment
- Strong work ethic and great communication
- Passion for the local community
