**Your new role**
The purpose of this position is to manage Health and Safety to ensure the safety of everyone in the company.
- Compliance with HSWA 2015 and Regulations.
- Ensuring the Hazard and Risk management system is followed by all sites.
- Implement company procedures and systems for a good HSE outcome.
- Assist in client-level HSE reporting and answering HSE queries.
- Conducting, reviewing risk assessments.
- Running site inductions, toolbox, safety meetings;
- Reporting to Project Manager and HSE Manager all incidents and near misses, leading reporting and assisting HSE Manager with investigation of major incidents;
- Take ownership in maintaining a positive and safe site environment for all
**What you'll need to succeed**
- A sound understanding of the Health and Safety at Works Act 2015 Regulations;
- Relevant experience in construction is preferred.
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Valid work rights in New Zealand
